Valerie Wonghen

Valerie Wonghen is the Director of Communications at Canfor, where Valerie leads internal communication strategies, builds employee engagement programs, contributes to the company's corporate strategy, and manages community initiatives. Previously, Valerie has held roles as a Public Relations Manager at MLA Canada and a Marketing and Communications Specialist in freelance consulting projects. Valerie also has experience in marketing, public relations, and event planning at companies such as SPUD.ca, NATIONAL Public Relations, Grey Canada, and Seagate Software. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University and a Diploma in Marketing Communications from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
