Katie Slater

Katie Slater is an audio and video engineer currently working at Canford. Prior to their current position, Katie worked as a CCS Field Interviewer for the Office of National Statistics from April 2021 to June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a sound engineer for Ku Bar from March 2019 to March 2022, City Hall, and The Georgian Theatre. Katie also has experience working as a live sound engineer, having held positions at 02 Academy from September 2018 to March 2022, Platform 1 Community Centre from June 2017 to March 2022, and Future Echoes from February 2016 to March 2022.

Katie Slater studied for a BA (Hons) in Creative Enterprise - Music at Newcastle College. Katie then completed a Foundation degree in Music (Sound Engineering) and an Extended Diploma in Music Technology, both at Newcastle College. Katie has also gained certifications from Canford Audio Limited in Dante Level 3 and Dante Level 1.
