Sara Shiina has diverse experience in the food and service industry, currently serving as a Food Expeditor at Canlis Restaurant since April 2023, with previous roles including Senior Backserver and Barista. Prior to Canlis, Sara worked as a Barista at Seattle Coffee Works and Ugly Mug Cafe & Coffee Roasters, and held various positions at Yu Tang Ceramics as a Studio Assistant. Volunteer experience includes roles at ROOTS Young Adult Shelter and an Herbarium Assistant at Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture. Additional internships were completed at Pebble Labs and UbiQD, Inc. Sara earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Washington in June 2023.
