Matthew Thacker, AIA LEED AP BD/C NCARB CDT has extensive work experience in the field of architecture. Matthew began their career as a Project Manager at InterSpec Design, Inc. in 2001 and worked there until 2008. During this time, they gained valuable experience in managing architectural projects.

From 2008 to 2014, Matthew worked at Cannon Design as an Architect. Matthew then joined InterSpec Design, Inc. again in 2015, this time as an Architect. Matthew continued to contribute to the company until 2020, gaining further expertise in the field.

In 2020, Matthew joined Deceder Group, LLC as a Senior Architect. Matthew worked in this role until December 2021, when they transitioned to their current position as a Project Architect at CannonDesign.

Matthew's extensive work experience in various architectural roles has equipped him with a diverse skill set and a strong foundation in project management and architectural design.

Matthew Thacker earned their Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree from Virginia Tech, where they studied architecture from 1995 to 2001.
