Andrew McCoy Pe

Andrew McCoy, PE has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Andrew is currently working at CannonDesign as a Structural Engineer since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Structural Engineer at Watts Architecture & Engineering from July 2016 to November 2021.

Andrew also gained valuable experience during their time at LeTourneau University. Andrew worked as a Team Lead for the Structural Composites Senior Design Team and as a Student Assistant to the Engineering Office from August 2015 to May 2016. Andrew completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a concentration in Civil Engineering from September 2012 to May 2016. During this time, they also held roles such as Grader/Lab Assistant for Engineering Project Management, Design, and Entrepreneurship, Resident Assistant, and Peer Advisor.

Additionally, Andrew has interned at Birdair, Inc. as an Engineering Intern in both 2015 and 2014. Andrew also worked as a Rough Carpenter at Schmidt Brothers Construction from May 2013 to August 2013, and as a Manual Laborer at Warning and Robel General Contractors from June 2012 to August 2012.

Andrew's work experience extends even further back to their role as a Laborer at Lilies of the Field from June 2010 to August 2011. In this position, they worked as a foreman overseeing other laborers, performing tasks such as weeding, planting flowers, preparing fields for planting, and selling cut flowers on both the wholesale and retail level.

Andrew McCoy, PE obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering with a concentration in Civil Engineering and a Structures emphasis from LeTourneau University in 2016. Afterward, they pursued further education at the University at Buffalo, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural and Earthquake Engineering, completing their studies in 2021.

In addition to their educational achievements, Andrew McCoy, PE holds certifications from the New York State institution. Andrew obtained their Engineer In Training certification in October 2016 and became a licensed Professional Engineer in July 2021.
