Robert Taylor

Portfolio Manager & Head of Equities at Canoe Financial

Rob Taylor is an award-winning portfolio manager and was directly responsible for managing more than $4 billion in his previous position as Vice President and Portfolio Manager, Canadian Equities at BMO Global Asset Management. In the last decade, Mr. Taylor managed the following mandates: BMO Asset Allocation Fund, BMO Equity Fund, Educators Growth Fund, BMO Resource Fund and BMO Global Energy Fund. He was also the lead equity manager of BMO AMs large cap pension business. Mr. Taylor was also an integral member of the asset mix committee responsible for asset allocation decisions with respect to institutional and retail mandates.

Before joining BMO Global Asset Management, Mr. Taylor was a research associate with CIBC World Markets, and a senior associate with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Honors from Wilfrid Laurier University, received the Chartered Accountant designation in 1999 and is a CFA Charterholder.

Rob manages the $1.3 billion Canoe EIT Income Fund (TSX: EIT.UN), Canoe Equity Portfolio Class, Canoe Asset Allocation Portfolio Class and Canoe North American Income Portfolio Class.
