Joseph Frikken is an experienced engineer and technical program manager specializing in electric vehicles, autonomous drive systems, and advanced chassis control technologies. Currently serving as a Design and Release Engineer at Canoo since April 2023, Joseph focuses on Brake and Steer by Wire software and systems release, leveraging SaFE Agile methodologies for product development. Previous roles include leading autonomous drive technology development at Gatik, managing software engineering at ZF Group, and overseeing software verification and validation at Autoliv. Notable achievements encompass managing global teams, driving successful autonomous vehicle projects, and building a new engineering site in Germany. Joseph holds a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from Wayne State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Western Michigan University.
