Joe Bonanno

Joe Bonanno is a seasoned professional in the insurance and reinsurance industry with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Head of Casualty at Canopius Group since October 2024, Joe previously held the position of Head of Reinsurance Bermuda at Roosevelt Road Re Ltd. from September 2021 to October 2024. Prior roles include Senior Vice President at Brit Insurance from September 2013 to February 2021 and SVP at Markel Corporation from January 2003 to September 2013. Joe began a career as an Actuarial Consultant at Tillinghast Towers Perrin from July 1991 to January 2003. Joe Bonanno earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Bridgewater State University between 1987 and 1990.
