Ben Finell

Ben Finell currently serves as the Head of Advanced Composites at Canopy Aerospace, where responsibilities include leading a team focused on high-temperature composites and thermal protection systems for space vehicles and hypersonics. Prior to this role, Ben held several positions at BLUE ORIGIN, progressing from Composites Manufacturing Engineer III to Sr Composites Manufacturing Engineer between February 2019 and June 2023. Ben's earlier experience includes roles as a Production Process Engineer and Quality Engineer at Vestas, and as a Product Validation and Production Quality Engineer at SpaceX. Ben Finell holds a Master of Science in Global Energy Management from the University of Colorado Denver and a degree in Plastics/Composites and Vehicle Engineering from Western Washington University.
