Sophia Qureshi is a driven professional with a strong background in communications and media. Sophia has worked in various roles, from being a Director of Communications to teaching as an Adjunct Professor. Currently, Sophia is the Founder and Editor of 285 South, a publication highlighting the stories of immigrant and refugee communities in metro Atlanta. Throughout their career, Sophia has also held positions at respected organizations such as Al Jazeera America and UNDP, showcasing their expertise in social media and communications. Sophia holds a Master of Arts in Communication, Culture, and Technology from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Spanish, and Religion from the University of Georgia.
