Tyler Whitby

Tyler Whitby has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2006. In 2006, they were a Layout Editor for the Weber State University Office of Undergraduate Research. In 2007, they were a Technical Editor for EarthTouch, Inc. In 2008, they were a Graduate Part-Time Instructor at Texas Tech University. In 2010, they returned to EarthTouch, Inc. as an Environmental Analyst. In 2013, they worked as a Web Developer for Northrop Grumman. From 2014 to 2021, they worked at MarketStar in various roles including Application Developer (Python), Application Developer (C#), Report Developer II, and Report Developer I. Most recently, they have been a Data Engineer at nThrive since 2021, and is currently a Senior Backend Engineer at Canopy since 2022.

Tyler Whitby obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Weber State University in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts in Technical Communication from Texas Tech University in 2010. Tyler also obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English with an Emphasis in Technical Writing from Weber State University in 2006. In addition, Tyler Whitby holds two certifications; Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals, obtained in January 2022, and Exam 761: Querying Data with Transact-SQL, obtained in June 2018.
