Kwame Ulmer

Kwame Ulmer is an advisor at Canopy. Prior to joining Canopy, Kwame was with Wavemaker Three-Sixty Health, MedTech Impact Partners, and Danaher Corporation. At Danaher Corporation, Kwame served as the Vice President Regulatory Affairs Quality Assurance and the Director of Strategic Regulatory Affairs.

Kwame has been in the healthcare industry for over 10 years and has experience in product launches, change management, and budget development and management. In their previous role as the Vice President Regulatory Affairs Quality Assurance, Kwame led a cross-functional team as senior champion for product launch in China. Kwame also oversaw a team of 30 associates in an accelerated 4-month compliance resolution project. In addition, Kwame instituted a regular budget development and review process in concert with finance partners which led to more accurate forecasts.

Kwame’s experience and expertise has made him an invaluable asset to Canopy.

Kwame Ulmer's educational career includes a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, a MS in Materials Engineering from the University of Virginia, and a BS in Physics from Lincoln University.
