Derek Johnson

Derek Johnson is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple sectors. Currently serving as Finance & Operations Director (ANZ) and previously as Regional Finance Manager (APAC) for Canopy Growth Corporation since January 2020, Derek has honed expertise in financial management. Prior roles include Finance Director and Finance Manager at COFCO International (September 2011 - November 2019), as well as a contract position as Business Improvement Analyst at HWE Mining in 2011. Derek also held significant positions at LN Metals International, including Finance Director, Financial Controller, and Financial Accountant, from September 2005 to February 2011. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, FCCA from ACCA, and a BSc (Hons) in Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
