Daniel Pierce

Daniel Pierce is a Senior UX Designer III at Canopy, where responsibilities span the SDLC process, product design, and user experience research in the financial technology sector. Since joining Canopy in September 2021, Daniel has contributed to various teams, including the Launching and Onboarding Pod and the Policy Pod. In addition to corporate experience, Daniel operates Pierce Designs, providing freelance design services and UX consulting since 2019. Previous roles include co-founding Lil Big Data, where Daniel held positions in user experience research and design, and working as a design engineer at TekkHouse, supporting aerospace engineering projects. Daniel's early career included sustainability roles at Associated Students, Inc. during academic years at California State University, Long Beach, where a Design B.A. was earned.
