Kyle Grotjohn

Kyle Grotjohn has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Kyle started their career as a Resident Computer Consultant at the University of Portland, where they provided technical support and assistance with computer problems. Kyle then worked as a Recycling Crew Member at the same university.

After their time at the university, Kyle worked as a Control Systems Engineer Intern at Siltronic AG before joining Callisto Integration as a Programming Analyst. In this role, they utilized WonderWare systems and installed WonderWare solutions using the Archestra IDE.

Kyle then moved on to PCC Structurals, Inc. where they served as a Programmer III. Kyle was responsible for administering, developing, and analyzing the Aras implementation, a PLM software that introduced smarter business processes through workflows.

Following their stint at PCC Structurals, Kyle worked at Cantata Health LLC as an Application Software Developer Consultant. Kyle was part of a development team and primarily worked on VB.NET/ASPX projects with a SQL Server 2014 backend database.

Currently, Kyle is employed at Costco Wholesale as a Full-Stack Engineer III. Kyle supports and develops solutions for Costco Wholesale factories across the US and Canada, specifically a manufacturing solution consisting of PLC Data Concentrator, Kepware OPC server, Simatic IT, Web Portal (C#, Angular/Bootstrap), and SQL back-end database.

Overall, Kyle Grotjohn has gained extensive experience in software development, manufacturing solutions, PLC systems, and project lifecycle management throughout their career.

Kyle Grotjohn obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering: Power Track from the University of Portland between 2008 and 2013. Prior to that, they received a High School Diploma from the Webb School of California in 2012.
