Paul Friesen

Paul F. serves as the Operations Lead for Content Review at Canva since November 2021, focusing on enhancing the operational structure for content moderation across various media types. Previously, Paul held dual roles as the Head of Review for Creators, where responsibilities included developing a streamlined template review process, and as Director of Content for Eezy and Vecteezy, leading global content teams and implementing strategic initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Content at 500px, where Paul expanded the contributor community, and earlier roles at Veer and Corbis involving content management and sales. Paul's career began as a Sales and Service Representative at Veer, following management of an indoor skatepark in Calgary. Paul is educated at Mount Royal University and the University of Regina.
