Hugo Welke

Hugo Welke is a seasoned design operations leader with extensive experience in driving product design at renowned companies such as Canva and HubSpot. Currently serving as the Design Ops Lead at Canva, Hugo has successfully onboarded over 50 Product Designers, implemented efficient onboarding processes, and led initiatives focusing on mental health and inclusivity within the team. Previously, as a Principal Product Designer at HubSpot, Hugo established the first design team outside the US, launching the HubSpot Email Analytics experience and contributing significantly to product strategies. With a strong background in team leadership and design operations, Hugo has also founded LGBTQIA+ groups in both Canva and HubSpot, advocating for inclusivity and community engagement.
