Phil Sloan has extensive work experience in the media industry. Phil started their career at Ogilvy as a Media Supervisor in 2000 and worked there until 2003. Phil then joined Digitas North America as an Account Supervisor from 2004 to 2005, followed by a role as Associate Director at UM Worldwide. In 2005, Phil joined Root Markets as a Director of Media & Business Development, where they consulted publishers on developing effective online media strategies. However, Root Markets closed in late 2006. Phil then worked at Initiative as a VP of Interactive Group Director from 2006 to 2009. After that, they joined Media Assembly as an SVP of Interactive Marketing Director and worked there until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, Phil held the position of SVP of Media at Digitas North America. Currently, they are working at Canvas Worldwide as an SVP and Business Lead, overseeing a full-service media agency and driving new business development.

Phil Sloan holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from NYU Stern School of Business. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from various institutions, including Twitter Flight School from Twitter in January 2020, Blueprint from Facebook in July 2018, and certifications in AdWords Mobile, AdWords Search, and AdWords Video from Google (obtained dates unspecified).
