Chanell Jatkola

Chanell Jatkola has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Chanell currently works at Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce as the Director of Communications, where they manage internal communications and creates content to promote local businesses. Chanell is also a Membership Liaison, supporting the membership team in various areas such as social media management and event coordination.

Previously, Chanell worked at Cheshire Academy as a Student Activities/Diversity Coordinator and Inclusion Coordinator, where they organized student activities, managed transportation, and facilitated diversity initiatives. Chanell also served as a Dorm Parent, Advisor, and Summer Program Student Activities Director during their time at Cheshire Academy.

Before that, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Town of Barnstable, a Marketing & Special Events Coordinator at the Barnstable Adult Community Center, and an Operations Assistant at BT Wealth Management, LLC. Chanell also has experience as an Account Executive at Envision Communications, a Marketing Customer Service Representative at General Growth Properties, and a Publicity & Promotions Assistant at Allied Advertising.

Chanell Jatkola has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communications and Organizational and Public Communications from Northeastern University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2005. In 2017, they also completed the Harvard Graduate School of Education Race, Equity and Leadership Certificate of Completion. Additionally, they hold a CPR certification.
