Albert Kang, CCUE, CCUFC, currently serves as Vice President of Deposit and Business Relations at CapEd Credit Union, overseeing a $1 billion total deposits portfolio and responsible for strategic planning of consumer and business deposit offerings. Kang is a member of the Asset Liability Management Committee, focusing on effective balance sheet management and risk mitigation for a credit union with $1.6 billion in assets. Prior roles at CapEd include Vice President of Business Relations and Treasury Management, where leadership in commercial deposits and treasury operations was paramount. Prior to CapEd, Kang worked as AVP of Treasury Management at Zions Bank, managing treasury relationships across various banking departments. Kang also has a background in emergency response as a Senior Firefighter and Incident Commander with the USDA Forest Service. Educational accomplishments include degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Towson University, and a certificate from Rice University.
