Kirk Bloomquist

Kirk Bloomquist is a Machine Learning Software Engineer at Capella Space since August 2022, where responsibilities include collaborating with the data science team to shape and implement the MLOps vision utilizing Capella's SAR imagery. Previous experience includes serving as Lead Engineer for Item Intelligence ML at Target, focusing on building a machine learning inference platform for content enrichment, and as Principal at Peregrine Consulting, LLC. Kirk also held the position of Kafka/Streaming Solutions Architect at TCF Bank and Principal Platform Engineer at TransVoyant, leading efforts in analytics and ML inference platforms. Additional roles encompass Software Architect at Digital River, Lead Architect/VP Software Engineering at TransVoyant, Senior Software Developer at PeopleNet and Wells Fargo, and Technical Architect at ObjectFX. Kirk obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota.
