David Payne

David is a senior commercial manager with over 29 years' experience across the mining, legal and financial services sectors.

David joined Capital Limited as Group Financial Controller in 2005 before becoming CFO and taking a lead role in listing the company on London Stock Exchange in June 2010. He has also held the roles of Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Operating Officer prior to assuming the role of General Manager, Commercial. Previously David held roles as General Manager of an Australian based national law firm in addition to holding a number of senior managerial roles with Zurich Financial Services Australia.

David holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Murdoch University and a Graduate Diploma in Insurance from Deakin University.
