Chris Burt MBA, SPHR has over 30 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on strategic leadership and organizational development. Currently, they serve as the EVP and Chief Human Resources Officer at Capital Farm Credit. In their previous role at GM Financial, they were the EVP and Chief Employee Experience Officer, responsible for developing and executing operational plans to support the company's growth and integration. Chris has also held senior leadership positions at LSG Sky Chefs, Trinity Industries, Inc., Molson Coors, Hill's Pet Nutrition, Bremner Inc, and Baxter International Inc. Throughout their career, Chris has successfully implemented HR strategies, led teams, and ensured compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Chris Burt holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Auburn University. In 1998, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from HRCI. Additionally, in 1981, they achieved the honor of becoming an Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America. More recently, they pursued further education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Business Administration and Management from The University of Texas at Arlington, from 2019 to 2020.
