Chester Soares

Chester Soares has an extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Chester began their career at Sony in 1995 as a Lead Applications Analyst and worked in that role until 2000. Chester then transitioned into the position of Applications Manager at Sony from 2001 to 2005. During this time, they were responsible for managing business applications and ensuring their smooth functioning. From 2005 to 2012, Chester served as a Senior Manager of Business Applications at Sony, where they led a team and oversaw the implementation and maintenance of various applications. In 2012, they joined Newborns In Need, Inc. as the Technology Director, where they directed technology-related initiatives until 2013. Chester then took on the role of Director of Enterprise Application and Data Services at Capital Metro in 2013, where they were responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise applications. In 2022, they briefly served as Interim CIO at Capital Metro.

Chester Soares holds a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Chester also earned an MBA degree from the University of Mumbai. In addition to their degrees, Chester has obtained certifications such as Certified Product Manager (CPM) from the Association of International Product Marketing and Management, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance, and Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
