Jacqueline Evans

Jacqueline Evans has extensive work experience in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Jacqueline is currently working as the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Capital Metro since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Travis County as a Human Resource Specialist Sr. from March 2015 to June 2021.

Jacqueline also has experience in the private sector, having worked at Kellogg Company as a Diversity and Inclusion Manager from May 2006 to June 2009. Jacqueline was responsible for managing diversity advertising and communications programs and developing strategic communication plans.

Earlier in their career, Jacqueline worked at Delta Air Lines as the Manager of Global Diversity and Community Affairs from May 2001 to June 2009. Jacqueline was responsible for developing and implementing diversity initiatives, managing relationships with diverse organizations, and overseeing employee networking groups.

Prior to that, Jacqueline worked at Kaiser Permanente as a Human Resource Consultant from January 1999 to May 2000. Jacqueline also held the role of Human Resources Consultant at Kaiser Permanente from January 1999 to November 1999.

Jacqueline's earliest work experience was at Fisher-Price/Mattel, Inc, where they worked as an Employment Coordinator from September 1994 to November 1998.

Jacqueline Evans attended Buffalo State University from 1992 to 1996, but did not earn a degree or specify a field of study. Jacqueline later pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Studies at the State University of New York College at Buffalo. In 2021, they obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
