Dwayne Whitt

Dwayne Whitt is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a focus on cloud platforms, currently serving as the Director of Cloud Platform Cyber Security at Capital One since February 2012. In this role, Dwayne drives the implementation of cloud security posture management solutions and promotes secure serverless adoption. Previous positions at Capital One include Senior Cloud Cyber Security Manager, where Dwayne implemented technical controls for cloud governance, and Technical Governance Manager, overseeing risk management in the AWS environment. Earlier experience includes leadership roles in software engineering and system integration, notably with IBM DataPower and HP Service Manager, as well as a technical support internship at Global Technology Solutions. Dwayne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems and Services from Virginia Commonwealth University.
