Samer al-Karmi

Samer Al-Karmi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk management, procurement, and operations. Currently serving as the Head of Third Party Risk and Governance at Capital One since 2008, Samer previously held the position of Procurement Manager. Between 2006 and 2007, Samer was the Director of Operations and Quality at Post Services Company (Postaplus), and prior to that, held the role of Senior Procurement and Logistics Manager at Xpress Telecommunications from 2003 to 2006. Earlier in the career, Samer worked as a project manager at Aregon and as the Head of Purchasing and Inventory at Jordan Wood Industries Company (JWICO). Samer completed a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering at the University of Jordan from 1993 to 1998.
