Shankar Das

Shankar Das has been serving as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Capital Region Orthopaedics since 1999 and concurrently holds the positions of Team Physician and Adjunct Professor at the University at Albany. Shankar Das completed a fellowship at the Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic from 1998 to 1999 after earning a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Albany Medical College between 1993 and 1998. Prior education includes a medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, obtained from 1989 to 1993, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Psychology from the University of Rochester, completed from 1984 to 1988.
