Hon Meng Yan

Hon Meng Yan has extensive work experience in various roles spanning over two decades. Hon Meng started their career as a Development Engineer at Philips Consumer Lifestyle in 1993. Hon Meng then joined the Singapore Economic Development Board in 1996, where they initially served as the Head of Precision Engineering and later became the Director of the San Francisco office. During their time at the EDB, they played a crucial role in attracting investments to Singapore, particularly in the semiconductor, precision engineering, chemicals, and services sectors. In 2007, Hon Meng Yan joined Ascendas-Singbridge Group as a Vice President, where they held several roles, including General Manager of Shanghai and Vice President for Strategic Management. Hon Meng successfully spearheaded Ascendas-Singbridge's strategic initiatives in China, focusing on new locations, products, services, and business models. Currently, Hon Meng Yan works at CapitaLand as a Vice President, overseeing the management and growth strategy for their global real estate portfolio. CapitaLand is one of Asia's largest real estate groups, specializing in various real estate classes, including commercial, retail, industrial, residential, and integrated development.

Hon Meng Yan attended the National University of Singapore from 1989 to 1993, where they studied Electronics Engineering.
