Oliver Cummings

Oliver Cummings is the current Commercial Director at Capitalise.com. Prior to this, they held positions at MarketInvoice, Nauta Capital, Smith & Williamson, and HSBC. Their role at MarketInvoice was to drive business development through the establishment of commercial and strategic partnerships within various channels, including financial intermediaries, banks, accountancy firms, other fintech firms, private equity and venture capital. At Nauta Capital, they supported and advised Nauta’s portfolio companies in different aspects including monitoring the portfolio companies’ financial reporting and controlling. Oliver was also involved in the investment processes as well as in other corporate matters of portfolio companies where they carried out due diligence reviews, capitalization structures and deal closing activities. Their previous position at Smith & Williamson was as Senior Manager Corporate Finance and at HSBC they worked in Equity Capital Markets. Outside of their work in the corporate world, Oliver has also been involved in expedition fundraising with Ice Warrior Expeditions.

Oliver Cummings is a Chartered Accountant who studied at ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs, and they have also completed an online certificate course in Fintech: Future Commerce from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Oliver has a Bsc in Accounting & Finance from the University of Bristol, and they also went to Charterhouse School.

Their manager is Paul Surtees, Co-founder & CEO. They work with Nelson DaSilva - Chief Revenue Officer, Adriana Amato - Head of Marketing, and Ollie Maitland - Co-founder & Chief Product Officer.
