Joriz Gonzales has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They began their career in 2001 as a Line Leader and Night Shift Duty Manager in production and operations at Sanno Philippines Manufacturing Corporation. They were responsible for checking process schedules, maintaining machine conditions, and setting up production lines.
In 2005, Joriz joined Unimicron former Phoenix Precision Technology Corp. as a Machine Operator. Their duties included conducting tests, maintaining production lines, and performing various tasks related to chemical solutions.
In 2010, Joriz transitioned to Fas Gas where they served as an Assistant Manager responsible for operational and sales activities. They held this position for three years before joining Grimshaw Trucking LP as a Forklift Operator in 2014.
In 2016, Joriz became a Plant Operator at SUEZ-Canada Edmonton Composting Facility, where they were involved in various plant processes. They later moved to SUEZ in North America in 2018, assuming the role of Plant Operator. In this position, Joriz conducted routine on-site checks, coordinated plant operations, performed maintenance tasks, and ensured adherence to safety standards.
Most recently, in 2022, Joriz joined Capital Power as a Coal Plant Operator. They were responsible for operating and maintaining coal plants.

Joriz Gonzales attended NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) in 2013, where they completed a 4th Class Power Engineering program. In 1997, they enrolled at the University of Southeastern Philippines and received a Diploma of Technology majoring in Electronics in 2000. Joriz Gonzales also holds a certification in 4th Class Power Engineering from ABSA, the pressure equipment safety authority.
