Senior Mechanical Reliability Engineer at Capital Power

Robert Park has a diverse work experience in the engineering and maintenance field. Robert started their career in 1987 at Suncor Energy as a Maintenance/Reliability Engineer. Robert then joined West Fraser in 1996 as a Plant Engineer/Maintenance Coordinator and worked there until 2002. From 2002 to 2010, they worked at Catalyst Paper as a Reliability Engineer. In 2010, they joined Capital Power Corporation as a Performance Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Senior Mechanical Reliability Engineer in 2012.

Robert Park holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Root Cause Analysis Analyst Level II: Master Facilitator from Sologic, LLC in October 2014, Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) from SMRP in October 2006, RCM Facilitator (Aladon RCM2) from Ivara Corporation in January 2006, and Professional Engineer (P.Eng), Mechanical from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) in June 1989.
