Tricia Johnston has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. Tricia most recently worked at Capital Power as the Director of Communications, Community Relations & Stakeholder Engagement, where they oversaw various projects and strategies. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Corporate Communications at the same company. Before Capital Power, Tricia owned and operated TJ Consulting Inc., a consulting company specializing in public consultation and stakeholder engagement. During this time, they worked on major projects such as the EPCOR Rossdale Decommissioning Project and the City of Edmonton Louise McKinney Funicular Project. Tricia also worked at EPCOR as the Public Consultation Manager & Senior Advisor for several years. Tricia started their career as a Research, Writing & Editorial Professional at the Department for International Development India (DFID) and then worked as a Copy Editor at Auto Motor & Sport Magazine. Tricia's early career also included a role as a Marketing and Communications Advisor at Deloitte & Touch LLP.
Tricia Johnston pursued their education with a Diploma in Public Relations from Grant MacEwan College from 1997 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended the University of Alberta between 1989 and 1993, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Sociology.
