Wei He, Ph.D, CFA has extensive work experience in the field of market analytics and energy economics. They currently work as a Market Analytics Specialist at Capital Power, where they model and forecast power prices and production for the Ontario power market using AURORAxmp and other tools. Wei Wei continued their academic journey by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics at the University of Alberta from 2005 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Wei Wei has obtained various certifications, including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in January 2022. Furthermore, they have acquired additional skills in advanced Excel formulas and functions, SQL for data analysis, effective public speaking, and SAS Visual Analytics through respective courses offered by LinkedIn and SAS.
