Julian Munroe

Associate at Capsticks

Julian joined Capsticks as a paralegal in August 2017 and qualified as a solicitor in September 2020. Julian is an Associate in the Employment and Pensions team, advising on contentious and non-contentious employment law issues for a range of public sector and healthcare clients.

Julian is experienced in advising on various contentious matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy and whistleblowing claims. Julian is also proficient in providing non-contentious support to clients, on issues including disciplinary and grievance procedures, sickness absence management, investigations, contract drafting and settlement agreements.

Julian is a long-standing member of Capsticks’ Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and has organised many fundraising events for the firm’s various charities. He is also a regular volunteer at the firm’s pro bono legal advice clinic and has previously volunteered for the Free Representation Unit providing representation and advocacy in the Employment Tribunal to individuals unable to afford legal representation.
