Tijmen Brommet is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in leading and architecting technology projects across various organizations. Currently, as a Senior Developer at CaptionHub since March 2021, Tijmen has spearheaded the launch of CaptionHub Live in December 2023 and focused on scaling the main product to accommodate significant usage increases. Previously, Tijmen served as a Service Tech Lead for the Department for Education, overseeing the development of a new application service for prospective teachers. As a Lead Developer at Government Digital Service, Tijmen provided technical leadership to a large team and managed multiple agile teams. Tijmen's career includes founding Stoxpop, a prediction market game, and co-founding GoBoat, a peer-to-peer boat rental platform, as well as freelance development work and early involvement in creative technology management.
