Wilma Novalés Wibert

Wilma Novalés Wibert, Ph.D, CPTM, SHRM-CP has over 10 years of experience in people development and learning. From 2016 to the present, they have been Vice President, People and Development at CaptureRx, where they oversee all aspects of learning, development, training, coaching, and mentorship. Wilma played a key role in designing and implementing the new employee orientation and 90-day on-boarding process/program.

From 2006 to 2010, they worked as an Assistant Professor at Michigan State University. In this role, they provided classroom instruction, academic advising, and mentorship to undergraduate students. Wilma also designed and implemented a grant program for inner city high school students.

Wilma Novalés Wibert, Ph.D, CPTM, SHRM-CP obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminial Justice from Michigan State University College of Arts and Letters. Wilma then went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Family & Consumer Sciences, specializing in Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences, from Western Michigan University. Wilma completed their formal education by earning a Ph.D in Family & Child Ecology from Michigan State University.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Wilma Novalés Wibert has also obtained multiple certifications to enhance their professional skills. Wilma holds certifications such as Hogan Assessment Certification from Hogan Assessment Systems, Leading Leadership Development from Training Industry, Inc., Needs Assessment Certificate from Training Industry, Inc., Building Accountability into Your Culture from LinkedIn, and Certified Professional in Training Management from Training Industry, Inc. Wilma has also completed various courses on topics including diversity and inclusion, remote work management, virtual meetings, and time management, among others.
