Carlos Parra

Carlos Parra has held various roles in the IT industry since 1997. In 1997, they worked as a Technical Consultant at Verizon (formerly GTE Corporation) where they created and maintained an internal electronic library of documents. From 2000 to 2003, they worked at ePartners as a Webmaster/Search Engine Optimizer, building the web server from the ground up and maintaining the corporate website. Carlos then worked at Joint Systems, LLC from 2003 to 2009 as a Systems Administrator/Software Developer, managing a team to create various IT projects. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at Compass Professional Health Services as a SQL/SSIS Developer, automating all medical file loads. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at One Technologies, LP as a Data Warehouse Developer, assisting in the successful expansion of the Data Warehouse to the UK. During this time, they also worked at Sierra Auto Finance as a Senior Data/ETL Specialist. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Mill Creek Residential Trust LLC as a SQL Developer, working on ETL Integrations between SQL server and products such as Entrata, DealCloud, Vena, Yardi, Procore, and Workday. Carlos is currently employed at Car Capital Technologies, Inc. as a Data Services Manager and Senior Data Engineer, where they are responsible for database administration and management on the Azure portal, as well as data governance with Azure Purview.

Carlos Parra obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Management Information Systems from Ambassador University between 1994 and 1997. In December 2019, they also obtained a certification in Continuous Delivery & DevOps from Coursera, University of Virginia.
