Zainuddin Ali has over 35 years of experience in the IT industry. Zainuddin began their career in 1985 as a Computer Maintenance Engineer at Tenaga Nasional Berhad. In 1990, they moved to Teknosif Sdn Bhd as Head of Operations, managing an operations team of 3 engineers, 16 computer operators and 4 tape librarians. From 1995 to 2001, they worked at Computer Associates (M) Sdn Bhd, first as Consulting Director for Malaysia and then as Regional Consulting Director for the Asia South Region. From 2006 to 2021, they worked at Microsoft, taking on roles such as Service Delivery Director, Professional Development Resource Manager for the SEA Region, Consulting Practice Director, and Support Engagement Director. Most recently, they have been working at Caravel Labs since 2021 as a Customer Success Manager - Asia. Zainuddin also has experience as a Business Consultant for their own business since 2017.

Zainuddin Ali attended The University of Kansas from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
