Avril Hasselfield

Avril Hasselfield worked as a Mediator at Results Mediators from October 2021 to the present. In March 2022, they joined Caravel Law as an Of Counsel*. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at iA Groupe financier (Industrielle Alliance) starting in September 2007. At iA Groupe financier, Avril started as a Senior Legal Counsel and evolved into a diverse business lawyer, specializing in risk management and negotiation. Avril'srole included providing legal advice to all business lines. Avril worked at iA Groupe financier until October 2021.

Avril Hasselfield completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and English from the University of Manitoba in 1997. Avril then pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at the same university from 1997 to 2000.

In terms of additional certifications, Avril obtained a certification in Workplace Investigations from Rublin Thomlinson in 2010. In 2016, they obtained another certification in Sexual Harassment and Violence Investigations, also from Rublin Thomlinson. Most recently, Avril completed the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School through the Harvard Law School Executive Education in 2020.
