Benjamin Rovet

Benjamin Rovet has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Benjamin started their career as a Regulatory Counsel at Call-Net Enterprises in 1998, before eventually becoming Director of Regulatory at MaxLink Communications Inc. in 2000. Benjamin later joined Rogers Cable Inc. as the Manager of Regulatory Affairs in 2001. In 2002, Rovet became a Barrister and Solicitor, working independently under their own name. Benjamin then served as Corporate and Regulatory Counsel at Yak Communications Inc. from 2004 to 2006. In 2007, Rovet became a Counsel at Caravel Law. Additionally, they founded Zerofone Inc. in 2009, where they served as the Founder and President until 2012. Most recently, Rovet worked as an Axiom Lawyer starting from February 2016.

Benjamin Rovet has a solid educational background, having pursued higher education in prominent institutions. Benjamin completed their LLB degree from the University of Toronto, majoring in Law, between 1993 and 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a B.A. (Hons) degree from McGill University, where they focused on History and Classics, graduating in 1993.

In addition to their academic degrees, Benjamin Rovet has also obtained professional certifications. In July 2021, they received the Osgoode Certificate in Privacy and Cybersecurity Law from Osgoode Professional Development. This certification further enhances their expertise and highlights their commitment to staying updated in their field.
