Kirsty McConnell has over 20 years of experience in customer service and project management. Kirsty began their career in 2001 as a Communications Centre Supervisor at 13cabs, where they answered calls in a fast-paced environment and provided exceptional customer service. Kirsty also worked as an Administration Assistant, Client Services Representative, and Social Media Manager. In 2016, they joined A2B Australia Limited as a Customer & Partner Care Manager, where they were responsible for providing personal transport for all Australians including NDIS clients, wheelchair accessible passengers, school groups and disability services. In 2021, they were appointed as the Head of Subscription and Customer Success Manager at Carbar, a digitally-led, customer-focused automotive start-up. At Carbar, Kirsty is responsible for providing members with exclusive access to a range of fully-serviced quality new and used cars. Kirsty is also active in advocacy work, having worked in conjunction with the CEO of Spinal Muscular Atrophy Australia and Victorian Clinical Genetics Services to help raise the profile and awareness of SMA within Australia.

Kirsty McConnell has a long history of education and certifications. Kirsty attended Mater Christi College from 1994 to 2000, earning their Victorian Certificate of Education. Kirsty then attended Swinburne University of Technology from 2001 to 2004, earning an Applied Science (Information Systems) degree in IT. In 2003, they obtained a Certificate IV in Call Centres from TAFE NSW. In 2019, they obtained a Digital Delivery with Agile certification from RMIT University. In 2021, they obtained a Remote Work Foundations certification from LinkedIn and a CoachAFL Level 2 certification from the Australian Football League. Kirsty also holds a Building High Performance Teams certification from the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
