Elisabete MacIel

Elisabete Maciel is a Regulatory Manager at CarboCode since September 2021, specializing in preparing safety files for active cosmetic ingredients and developing international regulatory strategies across regions such as the EU, US, and China. Previously, as an Analytical Scientist, Elisabete Maciel focused on ensuring the safety of newly developed cosmetic and nutrition ingredients through LC-MS expertise, impurities identification, and analytical reporting. Prior to CarboCode, experience included working as an Analyst at Bluepharma, developing analytical methods for liposome formulations, and serving as a Research Assistant and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Universidade de Aveiro. Elisabete Maciel holds a Master's Degree in Lipidomics from Aveiro University.
