Ursula Paul

Project Chemist at Carbogen Amcis

Ursula Paul has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as a Research Associate at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, where they focused on the synthesis and characterization of phosphine-borane-based polymers, as well as novel iridium and nickel transition metal complexes. During this time, they also conducted research on their application in homogeneous catalysis and element-element bond activation reactions. Following this, from 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the same university, specializing in Organometallic Chemistry. Ursula then joined CARBOGEN AMCIS in 2018 as a Project Chemist, where they contributed to various projects. Overall, Ursula Paul has had significant experience in research and project management within the field of chemistry.

Ursula Paul completed their education in chemistry, starting with their studies at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg. From 2006 to 2012, they obtained a degree in Chemistry, known as "Diplom-Chemikerin." In 2010, they briefly completed a research project in organic chemistry at Heriot-Watt University as part of the ERASMUS program. Ursula Paul then pursued further education at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, where they obtained a Ph.D. and achieved the degree of "Dr. rer. nat." in Chemistry from 2012 to 2017.
