Egil J. Bye

Egil J. Bye has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Egil J. started their career as a Consultant for Change Management at Almacenes Del Rosario in Caracas, Venezuela in 1988. Egil J. then worked as a Realtor at Magic Realty Inc. from 1989 to 1991. Egil J. joined Conoco in 1991 as a Contracts Co-ordinator, where they negotiated contracts for various projects. In 1997, they started working at GE Healthcare as a Financial Controller in the R&D department and later became a Finance Manager for Global IT/IM in Medical Diagnostics and Life Sciences. In 2009, Egil joined Carboline Norge AS as a Financial Controller and then became the COO/Driftsdirektør until 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Services & Compliance at Carboline Norge AS. Alongside their professional career, Egil has also been involved in various board positions and organizations such as Høyre, FRI - The association of gender and sexuality diversity, and Econa.

Egil J. Bye started their education in 1985 at Aalborg University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics, Finance, Human Resources, Organisational Theories, and International Commerce. This program lasted until 1988. Following this, from 1992 to 1993, Egil J. Bye attended the University of Bergen (UiB), where they completed an undergraduate programme in general law, known as "Juss Grunnfag." Lastly, from 1995 to 1997, Egil J. Bye studied at Copenhagen Business School, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics and Business Administration. During this program, their studies covered various fields such as Economics, Finance, Human Resources, Organisational Theories, and International Commerce.
