Meera Atreya

Meera Atreya is the Director of EMEA Advisory & Senior Scientist at Carbon Direct, a firm helping organizations measure, reduce, and remove greenhouse gas emissions to address climate change. Previously, Meera was a Senior Science Advisor at the Energy Transitions Commission, focusing on sustainable bioresources. With a background in renewable energy, Meera has also worked as an Associate at SYSTEMIQ Ltd. and as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company. Meera holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Chemical Biology) from UC Berkeley and an A.B. in Chemical and Physical Biology from Harvard University.
