Heather Piperato

Heather (Erica) Piperato (Murray), Ed.D., serves as the Director of Secondary Education for the East Stroudsburg Area School District since July 2014 and has held the position of Principal at JT Lambert Intermediate School. Additionally, Heather has been an Adjunct Instructor for the Principal Certification Program at the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit since January 2019. Previous roles include High School Principal at Brandywine Heights Area School District from August 2009 to August 2014, Assistant Principal at Salisbury Township School District from 2007 to 2009, and Assistant Principal at West Chester Area School District from 2004 to 2007. Heather’s career began as a Social Studies Teacher at Palisades High School from 1998 to 2003. Education achievements include a Superintendent's Letter of Eligibility from PennWest California (2013-2016), a Master of Arts in Education from Arcadia University (1997-2001), and a Bachelor of Science in Bible from Columbia International University (1988-1991). Heather's ongoing commitment to professional development is demonstrated through enrollment at Delaware Valley University since January 2017.
