Kristen Kleiman

Kristen Kleiman has a diverse work experience in the field of carbon offset projects and investment management. Kristen currently serves as a Risk Committee Member at Arbor Day Carbon, where they advise the team on pipeline, financial modeling, risk-return analysis, and carbon market dynamics. Prior to this, they were the Chair of the Investment Committee at Carbon Streaming Corporation. Kristen also worked as an independent carbon consultant at Kleiman Energy & Environment, providing expertise in carbon project development and structuring carbon project funding opportunities. Kristen has extensive experience in investment management, having served as the Chief Investment Officer at The Climate Trust and as a Principal at an Independent Investment Consultancy. Kristen also held positions at FourWinds Capital Management, Green Resources, Matariki Forests, Hancock Timber Resource Group. Additionally, early in their career, they worked as a Business Manager/Volunteer in the Peace Corps, providing financial management for a vocational school in Botswana.

Kristen Kleiman pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Investments at Babson College from 1984 to 1988. Later on, they furthered their education at the University of Michigan- School for Environment and Sustainability, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Forest Ecology from 1993 to 1995.
