Dave Desrochers

Dave Desrochers has extensive experience in the field of technology, having worked in various roles throughout their career. Dave currently serves as a Solutions Architect at Carbon60 Networks, where they have been employed since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Cogeco Peer 1 as a Sales Engineer for four years, focusing on managed hosting and Microsoft Azure public cloud. Before that, they held the position of Digital Strategist & Technical Lead at Elemental, where they played a key role in new business development and client engagement for digital campaigns. Dave also worked as a Senior Programmer at Sonic Boom Creative Media and as a Senior Web Developer/Programmer at IBM Canada Ltd. Dave started their career as a Web Developer/Webmaster at Tribute Entertainment Media Group and later as a Communications Coordinator at Lavalife. Their earliest role was as a Webmaster at ClientLogic.

Dave Desrochers has an education history that includes attending various schools and pursuing different degrees. In 1989, they attended École Secondaire Étienne Brûlé, where they did not obtain any specific degree or field of study. From 1994 to 1999, they enrolled at York University, where they completed a Bachelor of Arts program in Political Science and Environmental Studies. Most recently, in 2019, Dave completed a Cyber Security program at the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University, specializing in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance.
