Susan Airey

Susan Airey has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Susan began their career in 2004 as a Contract Senior Systems Administrator for the Government of Nunavut, where they provided server support and worked on various projects. Susan then moved on to positions such as Senior Messaging Analyst at Bank of Montreal and IT Team Lead/Senior Systems Engineer at SCI Ltd.

In 2011, Susan joined Carbon60 Networks as a Systems Engineer. Susan later worked at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology as a Messaging Services Systems Administrator. In 2013, they transitioned to FlexITy Solutions Inc. as a Systems and Storage Admin, where they managed and monitored customer environments and worked with various technologies.

Susan's experience also includes working as a Solutions Engineer at Digitalmek from 2005 to 2014, where they developed and implemented IT solutions for clients. Susan also held the role of Senior Solutions Architect at Ceryx Inc. from 2014 to 2019, where they utilized their expertise in designing solutions for clients.

In 2019, Susan joined Carbon60 as a Senior Operations Manager, where they currently oversee operations and leads the operations team. Their experience also includes serving as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at MED e-care Healthcare Solutions, Inc. for a brief period in 2014.

Throughout their career, Susan has demonstrated a strong background in system administration, operations management, and technological solutions.

Susan Airey attended Centennial College in 1997, where they obtained a Master of Science in Systems Administration with a specialization in Information Technology Systems Administration. In terms of certifications, they have achieved numerous qualifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate in September 2022, Enabling Office 365 Services 70-347, MCSA: Office 365, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, Office 365 Identities and Requirements 70-346, MS Exchange Server in 2006. Additionally, they obtained the Checkpoint Certified Systems Administrator certification from Checkpoint Systems in 1999. Furthermore, they hold several Microsoft certifications in MCP - Networking, MCP - Windows, MCP SMS, MCP SQL, and MCSE, all obtained in October 1997.
